Internal Audit Real Estate (Associate and Sr. Associate )

Job Description:

For Associate & Senior Associate:

• Audit Execution: Conduct end-to-end internal audits of real estate operations including land acquisition project construction procurement leasing facilities management and regulatory compliance (e.g. RERA local building codes).

• Process Review: Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls. Identify gaps process inefficiencies and potential cost-saving areas.

• Financial & Compliance Audits: Verify billing vendor payments contractor claims and ensure alignment with budget allocations and contracts.

• Documentation: Maintain robust high-quality audit working papers and evidence files in accordance with internal audit standards.

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Associate:

• Audit Planning & Risk Assessment: Assist in developing the annual risk-based audit plan specifically focusing on high-risk areas like construction fraud or market fluctuations.

• Reporting: Draft clear concise and impactful audit reports for management complete with practical action-oriented recommendations.

• Stakeholder Management: Independently lead opening and closing meetings with project managers site engineers and department heads.

• Team Mentorship: Guide and review the work of junior associates or interns assigned to audit projects.

• Follow-ups: Track the implementation of agreed-upon audit recommendations across different real estate sites/departments.
