Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute timely repair of machines and equipment to minimize production downtime.
• Allocate daily work and track breakdown status to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the maintenance area at all times.
• Ensure safety and discipline among workmen during maintenance operations.
• Update maintenance documents and records in a timely and accurate manner.
• Conduct preventive maintenance as per defined schedules and plans.
• Monitor machine performance, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for breakdowns.
• Prepare requisitions for purchase/repair orders and generate stores pick slips.
• Report any non-conformities to the sectional head promptly.
• Collect and document maintenance-related data and ensure proper shift handover.
• Maintain safety standards for both equipment and personnel during maintenance activities.
• Support and sustain Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Environmental Management System (EMS) initiatives within the section.
