Specialist - Catastrophe Risk Management

Are you excited by challenges and someone who seeks to find solution We are looking for a talented and dynamic individual to join our Catastrophe Modelling team at Guy Carpenter. This role is based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to

• Gather, organize, and review raw exposure data from clients to ensure accuracy and completeness for catastrophe risk analyses
• Able to lead simple to medium-level Cat modelling projects
• Assist in preparing and formatting data inputs compatible with catastrophe risk models such as RMS, AIR, RQE, and GC internal models
• Support the execution of catastrophe risk models under the guidance of senior project team members
• Analyze model outputs and extract key risk metrics
• Prepare clear and concise summaries, presentations, and detailed reports to communicate potential risk exposures and loss results to clients
• Collaborate effectively with senior team members to incorporate feedback and refine analyses and deliverables
• Maintain documentation of data sources, assumptions, and methodologies to ensure transparency and reproducibility

• Basic understanding of catastrophe risk modeling concepts and tool
• Proficiency in data handling and formatting, with familiarity in tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar
• Good communication skills to prepare reports and presentations
