Role Overview
We are looking for an Autonomous Systems Engineer to design, develop, and support AI-powered autonomous systems for intelligent machines and operational decision-making. The ideal candidate will work on perception, planning, control systems, sensor fusion, and simulation to build reliable, scalable, and secure autonomous solutions.
The candidate will collaborate with AI engineers, robotics engineers, software developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver high-performance autonomous systems across robotics, industrial automation, autonomous vehicles, and intelligent mobility applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy autonomous systems for intelligent machines and robotic platforms.
- Develop perception, planning, and control algorithms for autonomous operations.
- Implement sensor fusion techniques using data from LiDAR, cameras, radar, IMU, GPS, and other sensors.
- Build and optimize path planning, motion planning, localization, and navigation algorithms.
- Develop control systems for autonomous decision-making and vehicle or robot control.
- Design and execute simulation environments to validate autonomous system performance.
- Collaborate with AI, robotics, and software engineering teams to integrate autonomous capabilities.
- Optimize autonomous software for reliability, scalability, and real-time performance.
- Troubleshoot system behavior and improve operational efficiency.
- Document system architecture, technical designs, testing results, and implementation best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–5 years of overall experience in Autonomous Systems, Robotics, AI, Machine Learning, or related fields.
- Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Autonomous Systems Engineering or closely related technologies.

- Strong programming skills in Python or C++.
- Experience developing autonomous software for robotic or intelligent systems.
- Knowledge of perception, localization, and decision-making algorithms.
- Familiarity with simulation and testing methodologies for autonomous systems.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have Skills
- Experience with ROS / ROS2.
- Knowledge of Computer Vision and Deep Learning.
- Experience with Gazebo, CARLA, Isaac Sim, or similar simulation platforms.
- Familiarity with SLAM, Localization, and Navigation algorithms.
- Experience with LiDAR, Camera, Radar, IMU, and GPS sensor integration.
- Knowledge of Embedded Systems and Edge AI.
- Understanding of TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenCV.
- Experience working with autonomous vehicles, robotics, drones, or industrial automation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD, Docker, or Kubernetes is an added advantage.
