Tietoevry - Lead AI Developer

We are seeking an experienced Lead AI Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade AI and Generative AI solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI frameworks, cloud platforms, and modern AI application development.

You will provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise AI and Generative AI applications.

- Build scalable AI solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG architectures, and Agentic AI frameworks.

- Develop intelligent AI assistants, copilots, chatbots, and knowledge management systems.

- Design and implement multi-agent AI workflows using modern orchestration frameworks.

- Develop and integrate AI services with enterprise applications through REST APIs and microservices.

- Build and optimize vector search and semantic retrieval systems using enterprise knowledge bases.

- Collaborate with product owners, architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to define AI use cases and technical solutions.

- Implement AI best practices, coding standards, testing strategies, and deployment pipelines.

- Mentor AI developers and provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and aligned with Responsible AI principles.

- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and tools to improve solution capabilities.

- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to AI platform modernization initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 8+ years of software development experience with at least 4+ years building AI/ML or Generative AI applications.

- Strong programming experience in Python and modern AI development frameworks.

- Extensive experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), including Azure OpenAI, OpenAI GPT, or Claude.

- Hands-on experience designing and developing Generative AI applications.

- Strong experience building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and enterprise knowledge systems.

- Experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, or Microsoft Agent Framework.

- Experience implementing multi-agent orchestration and autonomous AI workflows.

- Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP), including chatbots, question-answering systems, sentiment analysis, and text processing.

- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, ChromaDB, or FAISS.

- Strong SQL skills and experience with enterprise databases such as PostgreSQL or Snowflake.

- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure and AWS.

- Experience building scalable microservices and REST APIs.

- Understanding of AI application security, governance, and Responsible AI practices.

- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and leadership skills.
