AWS L3 Cloud Engineer / Tech Lead

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced AWS L3 Cloud Engineer with over 8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and high-stakes production support. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure AWS environments. As an L3 expert, you will handle complex infrastructure issues, drive automation, and ensure operational excellence across our cloud enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

- L3 Production Support: Manage production environments proactively by reviewing logs, managing monitoring dashboards, and resolving high-priority incident/ticket queues within SLAs.

- Architecture & Implementation: Build scalable, resilient, and highly available AWS architectures, including microservices and serverless solutions.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain robust automation and infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Python.

- System Administration: Manage, optimize, and administer Linux/Unix-based systems within AWS environments.

- Disaster Recovery & Security: Implement and manage strict Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) strategies while maintaining robust IAM roles, policies, and access controls.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to conduct deep-dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensure continuous system stability.

Required Technical Skills:

- Experience: 8+ years of core experience in AWS cloud platform architecture and L3 production support.

- AWS Core Services: Deep expertise in Compute (EC2, Lambda), Storage (EBS, S3), Database (RDS, DynamoDB), and Integration services.

- Networking & Security: Advanced knowledge of VPC design, Subnets, Routing Tables, Security Groups, NACLs, Load Balancers (ALB/NLB), Route 53, WAF, and VPN (IPSec)/hybrid connectivity.

- Automation: Hands-on expertise in Terraform for provisioning and Python for scripting.

- OS: Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration.

- DevOps: Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and logging frameworks.

Soft Skills:

- Exceptional troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills.

- Ability to handle high-pressure incident escalations and drive service restoration.

- Excellent technical communication and collaboration skills.
