Job descriptionCollaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to design and implement network solutions Perform regular audits, risk assessments, and patching to maintain network security compliance Document network configurations, standard operating procedures, and incident reports Proactively monitor performance, resolve issues, and ensure high availability of network Skills & Qualifications : 6+ years of hands-on experience with Network Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA, or similar) Strong experience in cloud platforms : AWS or Microsoft Azure Experience working with Splunk for log analysis, monitoring, and alerting In-depth knowledge of networking concepts including TCP / IP, DNS, VPN, routing, and switching Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting firewall rules, NAT, ACLs, and security zones Strong understanding of network security best practices and compliance standards Excellent communication and troubleshooting Skills : Certifications such as CCNA Security, AWS Certified Networking Specialty, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or equivalent Experience with SIEM tools, IDS / IPS systems, and cloud-native security tools Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) for networking in cloud environments
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and maintain enterprise-level network firewalls ensuring secure and optimized performance
- Monitor network activity using Splunk and other tools to identify anomalies and respond to incidents
- Implement, configure, and troubleshoot network security protocols and firewall rules
- Support cloud-based infrastructure across AWS or Azure, ensuring seamless integration with on-prem
networks
