IVF Counsellor (Bengali)

Job Title: IVF Counsellor Department: Patient Counselling / Clinical Services Location: Noida Sec-63 Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 1–3 Years (IVF/Fertility experience preferred) Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused IVF Counsellor to guide and support patients throughout their fertility treatment journey. The ideal candidate will provide counselling, explain treatment plans, coordinate with the clinical team, and ensure an exceptional patient experience. Candidates who can communicate fluently in Bengali will be given preference to effectively assist Bengali-speaking patients. Preferred Language: Bengali (Fluency in Hindi and English is also desirable.) Key Responsibilities Counsel patients and couples regarding fertility treatments, IVF procedures, and available treatment options. Explain treatment plans, investigations, medication schedules, and financial packages in a clear and empathetic manner. Coordinate appointments, follow-ups, and treatment schedules with doctors, nurses, embryologists, and the front office. Maintain regular communication with patients throughout their treatment journey. Address patient concerns, provide emotional support, and ensure a positive patient experience. Follow up with prospective and existing patients to improve treatment conversions and retention. Maintain accurate patient records and update counselling notes in the Hospital Information System (HIS)/CRM. Coordinate with the billing and operations teams to facilitate smooth patient services. Ensure patient confidentiality and adherence to organizational policies. Achieve counselling, follow-up, and conversion targets as defined by management. Participate in patient education initiatives, awareness programs, and promotional activities as required. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in any discipline. A background in Healthcare, Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or Life Sciences will be an added advantage. Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an IVF Counsellor, Patient Counsellor, or Healthcare Counsellor. Experience in an IVF/Fertility Centre is highly preferred. Required Skills Excellent communication skills in Bengali, Hindi, and English . Strong counselling, interpersonal, and relationship management skills. Ability to communicate medical information in a simple and patient-friendly manner. Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centric approach. Good negotiation and counselling skills. Strong organizational and follow-up abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and Hospital Information Systems (HIS)/CRM. Ability to work in a target-oriented and fast-paced healthcare environment. Preferred Candidate Profile Fluent in Bengali (mandatory preference). Experience in IVF, fertility, gynecology, or women's healthcare. Strong patient counselling and conversion skills. Ability to build trust and maintain long-term patient relationships. Willingness to work on weekends and rotational shifts, if required.
