Assembling and constructing multi/-level mechanical assemblies, imposing precise mate restrictions, confirming clearances, and performing motion analysis to assess operational kinematics are all part of assembly architecture and motion analysis. Sheet Metal & Weldment Engineering/: Use SolidWorks Sheet Metal and Weldment modules to precisely define bend allowances, K/-factors, corner reliefs, structural profiles, and cut lists while designing manufactured assemblies. Tolerance Stack/-Up Analysis/: Perform linear and 2D manual and automated tolerance stack/-up analyses to ensure absolute part fitting clearances even when manufacturing variances are extreme. Design for Manufacturing and Assembly Validation/: Audit model parameters against tooling restrictions validating stamping radii constraints, wall thickness uniformity, machining access, and standard tool clearance gaps.
