Be part of Our Design Unit Creo Design Engineer Job Description/: The CAD Design Engineer serves as our manufacturing and engineering division 's "Virtual Product Architect " and "Kinematic Integrity Engine ". While factory production teams run active assembly setups on the floor, your primary responsibility is to engineer, model, and optimise the digital blueprint of next/-generation physical components using PTC Creo Parametric. This includes transforming raw product concepts, industrial styling sheets, and technical packaging space envelopes into fully detailed, manufacturable, and mathematically robust 3D CAD assemblies. As the "Guardian of Design Model Intent, Drawing Tolerance Stacks, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing GD&T Compliance, " you take direct execution ownership of building parametric models, managing complex multi/-level top/-down design assemblies, resolving interference clashes, and ensuring engineering release integrity. Key Duties/: Parametric 3D Modelling and Design Formulation/: Within PTC Creo Parametric, you can create strong, cleanly constrained, and fully parameterised 3D component models for cast, forged, sheet metal, or injection/-molded domains. Top/-Down Assembly Architecture/: Use skeleton models, publication elements, and external copy geometry characteristics to structure and develop sophisticated multi/-level mechanism models, ensuring systematic top/-down configuration management. Tolerance Stack/-Up Analysis/: Perform linear and 2D manual and automated tolerance stack/-up analyses to ensure absolute part fitting clearances even under significant production variances. Design for Manufacturing and Assembly Validation/: Compare model parameters to tooling limits, such as casting draft angles, stamping radii constraints, wall thickness uniformity, and standard tool clearance gaps. Engineering Change Order Execution/: Manage design engineering changes using formal modification workflows, such as systematically rewriting CAD geometry, updating legacy drawings, and documenting master model change lines.
