Production Management

Plan and execute daily/shift-wise production targets

Monitor forging processes

Minimize downtime and optimize output

Manpower Handling

Allocate workers/operators to machines

Manage attendance, shift handovers, and discipline

Guide and supervise operators, helpers, and technicians

Quality Control

Ensure products meet specifications (dimensions, tolerances, surface finish)

Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections

Identify and reduce defects like cracks, laps, underfill, or scale issues

Process Monitoring

Control key parameters: temperature, die condition, lubrication, cycle time

Ensure correct heating in furnaces (induction or oil/gas-fired)

Monitor die life and coordinate for die changes

Safety & Compliance

Enforce PPE usage and safe working practices

Handle hazardous operations (hot metal, heavy machinery)

Ensure compliance with industrial safety norms

Maintenance Coordination

Report machine breakdowns

Coordinate with maintenance team for quick repairs

Support preventive maintenance activities

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain production reports, rejection reports, downtime logs

Update shift performance data

Report issues to production manager
