About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS R12 Financial Techno-Functional Consultant to support and enhance Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Financial applications. The ideal candidate should possess a strong blend of functional expertise in Oracle Financial modules and technical proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, enabling them to analyze business requirements, develop customized solutions, and provide end-to-end support for Oracle EBS Financials.

The role involves collaborating with business users, functional consultants, technical teams, and stakeholders to design, develop, implement, and support Oracle EBS Financial solutions while ensuring optimal system performance and business process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Oracle EBS Financials :

- Provide end-to-end support for Oracle EBS R12 Financial modules.

- Configure and maintain Oracle Financial applications including :

1. General Ledger (GL)

2. Accounts Payable (AP)

3. Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.

- Ensure smooth functioning of financial processes across Oracle EBS.

2. Functional Consulting :

- Work closely with finance and business teams to gather and document business requirements.

- Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.

- Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Solution Design Documents, and configuration documents.

- Conduct system demonstrations, workshops, and user training sessions.

- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployments.

3. Order-to-Cash & Procure-to-Pay :

- Possess strong understanding of :

1. Order-to-Cash (O2C) business process

2. Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process

- Integrate financial modules with supply chain and procurement processes.

- Support end-to-end financial transaction lifecycle across Oracle EBS.

4. Technical Development :

- Develop and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and database objects.

- Optimize SQL queries and improve database performance.

- Develop custom reports and enhancements based on business requirements.

- Support interfaces and data migration activities.

5. RICE Components :

- Develop and support Oracle EBS customizations involving :

1. Reports

2. Interfaces

3. Conversions

4. Extensions

5. Workflow/Enhancements

- Design and implement custom solutions while ensuring Oracle development standards and best practices.

6. Production Support :

- Investigate and resolve application defects and production incidents.

- Perform root cause analysis and recommend preventive actions.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution.

- Support patch testing, upgrades, and system enhancements.

7. Stakeholder Management :

- Collaborate with business users, finance teams, developers, and project managers.

- Communicate project updates and technical solutions effectively.

- Manage changing business priorities in a dynamic environment.

- Provide functional and technical guidance to junior team members.

8. Documentation & Testing :

- Prepare technical specifications and functional documentation.

- Develop test cases and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and UAT.

- Maintain knowledge repositories and support documentation.

- Ensure compliance with organizational development standards.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.

- 6 to 10 years of experience in Oracle EBS R12 Financials.

- Strong functional expertise in GL, AP, and AR modules.

- Hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.

- Good understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.

- Experience developing and supporting RICE components.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
