Job Summary :

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on experience across both AWS and Microsoft Azure. The role will be responsible for designing, deploying, automating, securing, and supporting cloud infrastructure for enterprise applications within a banking environment. The ideal candidate should have experience in multi-cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, container platforms, cloud security, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and highly available infrastructure on AWS and Azure.

- Support the migration and deployment of enterprise applications across cloud environments.

- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, or Bicep.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, application deployment, and operational activities.

- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.

- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, or Azure Kubernetes Service.

- Configure cloud networking, including VPCs, VNets, subnets, routing, load balancers, VPNs, firewalls, and security groups.

- Implement Identity and Access Management using AWS IAM, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, roles, policies, and access controls.

- Monitor infrastructure and application performance using CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.

- Ensure cloud environments comply with organizational security, governance, audit, and regulatory requirements.

- Perform capacity planning, cost optimisation, backup management, disaster-recovery planning, and business-continuity testing.

- Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root-cause analysis.

- Collaborate with application, DevOps, cybersecurity, database, network, and infrastructure teams.

- Maintain architecture diagrams, configuration documents, operational procedures, and knowledge repositories.

Mandatory Skills :

- 6 to 10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience with both AWS and Microsoft Azure.

- Experience with key AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, EKS, and Route 53.

- Experience with key Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, VNets, Entra ID, Azure Monitor, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and AKS.

- Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, identity management, backup, and disaster recovery.

- Experience administering and troubleshooting Linux and/or Windows servers.

- Scripting experience using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Shell scripting.

- Experience supporting production environments and resolving critical incidents.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience working in banking, financial services, insurance, or another regulated industry.

- Knowledge of cloud security, governance, compliance, and audit requirements.

- Experience with hybrid-cloud and on-premises-to-cloud migration.

- Familiarity with configuration-management tools such as Ansible.

- Understanding of microservices architecture and API-based integrations.

- AWS and/or Microsoft Azure professional-level certifications.

- Knowledge of cloud cost management and FinOps practices.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Relevant AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, or DevOps certifications will be an advantage.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on cloud professional who can independently manage complex AWS and Azure environments, automate infrastructure deployments, strengthen cloud security, and ensure the availability and reliability of business-critical banking applications.
