Job descriptionAbout the Role Our Client is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to support its finance function from India while closely collaborating with the finance and leadership teams in the United States. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in manufacturing accounting, coupled with a sound understanding of US accounting principles (US GAAP). This role requires excellent financial acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a global business environment . Key Responsibiliti - es Manage the complete accounting cycle in compliance with US GAAP and company polici - es.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management repor - ts.Oversee General Ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end/year-end closi - ng.Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, standard costing, BOM costing, overhead allocation, and variance analys - is.Analyze production costs, inventory movements, and plant performance to improve operational efficien - cy.Partner with manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporti - ng.Support budgeting, forecasting, cost planning, and profitability analys - is.Coordinate with the US Finance team on reporting, compliance, audits, and financial planni - ng.Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with corporate financial polici - es.Drive process improvements, ERP optimization, and automation initiativ es. Desired Pro - file Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6–10 years of post-qualification experi - ence.Minimum 4–5 years of experience in a manufacturing organiza - tion.Strong knowledge of US GAAP and exposure to US accounting pract - ices.Hands-on experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, standard costing, and manufacturing fin - ance.Experience working with US-based stakeholders or multinational manufacturing companies will be highly prefe - rred.Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar manufacturing ERP platf - orms.Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling, and MIS repor - ting.Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management sk ills.
