Job description
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate law courses in accordance with the college curriculum.
Conduct lectures, seminars, workshops, and practical sessions that promote critical thinking and analytical skills.
Supervise and mentor students on dissertations, research projects, and internships.
Engage in scholarly research, publish papers in reputable journals, and present findings at conferences.
Participate in curriculum revision, program accreditation activities, and academic committees.
Provide academic counseling and support to students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
Collaborate with industry professionals and legal institutions to enhance experiential learning opportunities.
Perform administrative duties such as examination setting, grading, and faculty meetings.
Essential Qualifications
Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Law (or a recognized equivalent qualification).
Demonstrated expertise in at least one major area of law (e.g., Constitutional, Criminal, Corporate, International Law).
Eligibility for appointment as Associate Professor as per University Grants Commission (UGC) norms in India.
Strong communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Hindi is an advantage.
Desired Experience
Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level in a recognized university or college.
Track record of research publications in peer‑reviewed journals or reputable legal forums.
Experience in curriculum development and academic administration.
Active involvement in professional legal bodies or associations.
