Hiring for QA Head -Wiring Harness Industry Noida

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Quality Assurance function for the Wiring Harness manufacturing plant.
• Drive quality excellence across Incoming, In-Process, Final Inspection, and Customer Quality.
• Collaborate closely with Production and Operations teams to achieve Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD) objectives.
• Develop and implement robust quality systems, processes, and control plans.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, customer-specific requirements, and applicable automotive standards.
• Lead customer audits, certification audits, and process audits.
• Drive root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, PDCA, and implement effective CAPA.
• Monitor plant quality KPIs including PPM, COPQ, Rejections, Warranty, Customer Complaints, and Internal Defects.
• Lead APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plans, and Process Validation activities.
• Work closely with Production and Operations to improve First Pass Yield (FPY), reduce rework, scrap, and customer returns.
• Develop supplier quality improvement programs in coordination with the Supplier Quality team.
• Build a culture of quality awareness through training and employee engagement.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality team to achieve operational excellence.
• Support new product development and smooth product launches.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• 15 22 years of experience in Automotive Wiring Harness Manufacturing.
• Mandatory experience in Quality Assurance along with exposure to Production and Operations.
• Strong understanding of Wiring Harness manufacturing processes including:
• Wire Cutting & Stripping
• Crimping
• Splicing
• Connector Assembly
• Taping
• Harness Assembly
• Electrical Testing
• Final Inspection
• Hands-on experience with:
• IATF 16949
• ISO 9001
• APQP
• PPAP
• FMEA
• MSA
• SPC
• Control Plans
• 8D Problem Solving
• Lean Manufacturing
• Six Sigma
• Experience handling customer audits for OEMs and Tier-1 automotive customers.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to ERP systems and advanced quality reporting tools will be an added advantage.
