Required Skills

• Linux/Unix administration across RHEL 6/7/8/9, CentOS, Ubuntu, OEL, and IBM AIX
• Storage & filesystems: LVM, XFS, EXT3/EXT4, JFS
• Package management: YUM, DNF, RPM, APT
• Shell scripting (Bash / Korn Shell)
• Performance & diagnostics: top, vmstat, iostat, sar, ps, netstat, ss, lsof
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, NTP
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and log analysis
  
  

Qualifications Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 4–7 years of hands-on Unix/Linux administration experience
• Minimum 3+ years in an L2 Production Support role
• Experience supporting enterprise environments with 500+ servers
• Experience in 24x7 enterprise support environments
• Experience in incident, problem, and change management
