Key Responsibilities

• Plan prepare and deliver engaging geography lessons for classes XI and XII in accordance with the CBSE/State curriculum.
• Develop comprehensive lesson plans teaching aids and assessment tools that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Conduct regular formative and summative assessments provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate academic records.
• Guide students in project work field trips mapreading exercises and research assignments to enhance practical understanding.
• Organize and supervise cocurricular activities geography clubs and interschool competitions.
• Participate in faculty meetings professional development programs and school events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary approaches and improve overall academic performance.
• Maintain discipline and a safe learning environment adhering to the schools policies and values.

Essential Qualifications

• Masters degree in Geography (. or M.A.) from a recognized university.
• National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognized teaching certification (CTET/ preferred).
• Clear understanding of the CBSE/State geography syllabus and examination patterns.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (or regional language).
• Strong analytical organizational and classroom management abilities.

Desired Experience

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (Classes XIXII).
• Demonstrated success in improving student academic performance and examination results.
• Experience in using digital tools smart classrooms and elearning platforms is an advantage.
• Involvement in extracurricular activities related to geography (e.g. clubs field surveys) is desirable.
