Job Description Portfolio Analytics / Risk Consultant

We are looking for analytical and client-focused professionals with expertise in Portfolio Analytics Market Risk and Investment Management to join the Confluence consulting team.

In this role you will work closely with clients and stakeholders to support portfolio analytics quantitative risk analysis investment reporting and risk management initiatives across financial products and investment portfolios.

The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative skills deep financial market understanding and the ability to explain complex risk and analytics concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What You Will Do

You will:

• Analyze portfolio and market risk data to support investment and risk management decisions.
• Work on quantitative models and explain analytical outputs to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support clients with portfolio analytics investment reporting and risk measurement activities.
• Analyze liquidity risk stress testing scenarios and common market risk statistics.
• Work with financial instruments including derivatives such as swaps futures and options.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting client requirements and issue resolution.
• Manage multiple client requests reporting deliverables and analytical tasks simultaneously.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and product enhancements.

• Liquidity Risk and Stress Testing
• Quantitative Analysis and Financial Modelling
• Financial Instruments and Derivatives including:
  • Swaps
  • Futures Contracts
  • Options Contracts
• Client relationship management and stakeholder engagement
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Planning organization and multitasking capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following certifications will be highly preferred:

• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
• Financial Risk Manager (FRM)
