Position: Secretary General
Organization: Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI)
Experience: 5-7 years (preferably with Chambers Industry Associations Trade Bodies or similar institutions)

Position Overview

The Secretary General will be responsible for the overall administration coordination and strategic functioning of GCCI. The role involves high-level stakeholder engagement governance oversight and supervision of key operational financial and institutional activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall administration and functioning of GCCI
• Liaising with Ministers Secretaries and State Government Departments
• Coordinating allocated committees and committee activities
• Liaising with Associations Chambers and Regional Chambers
• Representing GCCI on external committees and forums
• Managing Election and Constitution-related work
• Preparation of event reports committee meeting minutes and coordination for website/social media updates
• Handling GCCI legal matters and institutional coordination
• Monitoring GCCI Helpdesks and affiliated associations coordination
• Supervising GCCI-ADRC Centre activities
• Supervising Service Centre and Membership functions
• Overseeing Accounts Audit and Trust-related financial activities
