Job Description

Udaya Public School is looking for a passionate and dedicated PGT History to join our Senior Secondary faculty. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment that encourages students to think critically and develop a deeper understanding of historical concepts. The candidate should be committed to academic excellence, student success, and continuous professional growth.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in History (M.A. History) from a recognised university.
  
• B.Ed. qualification is mandatory.
  
• Minimum 2–3 years experience as a PGT in a CBSE or reputed school (Freshers with exceptional academics may also apply).
  
• Strong command of the CBSE curriculum and senior secondary History syllabus.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  
• Ability to create engaging, student-centered lesson plans and assessments.
  
• Proficiency in using digital teaching tools, smart classrooms, and MS Office/Google Workspace.
  
• Strong classroom management, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  
• Passion for teaching, mentoring, and fostering critical thinking among students.
  
• Willingness to participate in school activities, examinations, meetings, and professional development programs.
