Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hardware Validation Engineer to execute comprehensive validation activities at both vehicle and subsystem levels. The role involves planning, executing, and analyzing validation tests for automotive electrical and electronic systems, with a strong focus on EV technologies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Validation Planning & Execution

• Execute hardware validation activities for vehicle-level and subsystem-level testing
• Prepare and maintain:
• DVP & R (Design Verification Plan & Report)
• Test plans and procedures
• Validation reports and supporting documentation

2. System-Level Validation

Perform validation activities for:

• ECUs and electronic controllers
• Battery systems and Battery Management Systems (BMS)
• Power electronics
• Vehicle electrical systems
• Wiring harnesses and communication networks

3. Advanced Testing & Compliance

• Coordinate and support:
• Environmental testing
• Vibration testing
• Thermal testing
• Reliability testing
• EMI/EMC validation
• Manage external lab testing and certification activities

4. Analysis & Problem Solving

• Analyze test results and identify system failures
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend corrective actions
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with:
• Design and development teams
• Software teams
• Homologation and compliance teams
• Suppliers and external partners

6. Project Tracking & Improvement

• Track validation progress against project milestones
• Ensure timely execution and completion of validation activities
• Contribute to continuous improvement of:
• Validation processes
• Test methodologies

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Automotive electrical and electronic systems
• Validation and reliability testing
• EMI/EMC testing
• CAN tools and diagnostics
• Test equipment and data acquisition systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to:
• Electric Vehicle (EV) systems
• Battery and BMS validation
• Vehicle-level integration
