Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days per Week from Office)
Shift Timing: 12:00 PM 9:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Developer with strong expertise in cloud-native application development data engineering and serverless architectures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services workflow orchestration distributed query engines and Python development. The role involves designing developing and optimizing scalable cloud-based solutions while ensuring security performance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and deploy scalable cloud-based applications and data pipelines using AWS services.
Develop and maintain ETL workflows using AWS Glue for data integration and transformation.
Build and manage workflow orchestration using AWS Step Functions and MWAA (Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow).
Develop serverless applications automation solutions and event-driven architectures using AWS Lambda.
Work with Starburst/Trino for distributed SQL query processing data analytics and reporting.
Integrate on-premises systems with AWS cloud environments using AWS Storage Gateway.
Develop efficient reusable and scalable Python code for automation data processing and application development.
Collaborate with business stakeholders architects and development teams to gather requirements and deliver cloud solutions.
Monitor troubleshoot and optimize AWS infrastructure services and workflows for performance and reliability.
Implement cloud security governance and cost optimization best practices.
Support CI/CD implementation and DevOps practices to streamline deployments and operational processes.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including:
o AWS Glue
o AWS Lambda
o AWS Step Functions
o MWAA (Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow)
o AWS Storage Gateway
Experience working with Starburst/Trino or similar distributed query engines.
Proficiency in Python programming and scripting.
Strong understanding of data engineering concepts ETL processes and data pipeline development.
Experience designing cloud-native and serverless architectures.
Familiarity with workflow orchestration and event-driven systems.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines DevOps tools and deployment automation.
Strong troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Data Lakes and Big Data technologies.
Knowledge of AWS security governance and compliance best practices.
AWS Certifications such as:
o AWS Certified Developer Associate
o AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate/Professional
Experience in performance tuning and cloud cost optimization.
Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
