- Develop and optimize stamping processes for automotive sheet metal components.
- Prepare and finalize method plans for stamping dies.
- Perform feasibility studies for new body panel development.
- Conduct stamping simulation, formability analysis, springback analysis, and process validation.
- Support die development, prove-out, tryout, commissioning, and production readiness.
- Analyze manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to improve quality and productivity.
- Perform DFMEA, Process FMEA, and risk assessment for stamping processes.
- Drive process optimization, yield improvement, and cycle time reduction.
- Coordinate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Tooling, and Suppliers during new project execution.
- Review die design and recommend engineering changes based on simulation results.
- Support die buy-off activities at supplier locations and ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Handle engineering changes, 4M implementation, and continuous improvement activities.
- Lead project execution and coordinate cross-functional teams for successful launch.
