- The role requires the individual to have an analytical and research based approach
- You will get to play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between top-down macroeconomic trends and bottom-up equity market implications. This role involves analyzing global and domestic macroeconomic indicators, monetary policies, fiscal developments, and geopolitical events to formulate actionable equity market strategies, sector allocation frameworks, and thematic investment ideas.
- Track, analyze, and forecast key domestic and global macroeconomic indicators, including GDP growth, inflation (CPI/WPI), fiscal deficits etc
- Translate macroeconomic views into equity market implications. This includes developing frameworks for market valuation (P/E, P/B, EV/EBITDA), earnings growth projections, sector rotation strategies, and asset allocation models.
- Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis through financial modelling through historical data and other relevant data sources
- Actively engage with institutional clients through presentations, concalls and roadshows to communicate the firm's macro-strategy view. Collaborate closely with sectoral equity research analysts to align top-down macro views with bottom-up sector realities.
- Should have the ability to synthesis insights from accounting and financial information disclosed by companies and regulators.
- Encouraging applicants from non equity research background - Strategy roles, CEO`s Office, Consulting etc with strong industry experience
- Preferably CA/CFA background with minimum experience of 5 years
- Strong technical/conceptual understanding of finance and valuations
- Strong statistical and analytical skills to assess the economic performance / perform analysis of companies and industries
- Strong business acumen & a multi-tasker with an eye for details
- MS Office skills - should be proficient in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word
