Functional Tester

Requirements

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-6 years of experience as a Software QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on testing software applications in the Property & Casualty insurance industry, particularly in Personal Lines.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, testing techniques, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Solid knowledge of test management tools such as HP ALM, Jira, ADO, Rally or similar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with keen diligence.
• Experience working in Agile environment following Onsite Offshore mode.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

Good to Have:

• Any Automation tools like Selenium/UFT with hands on experience
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, INS 21/24 or Agile certifications are desirable.
