Associate Procurement Manager

Job Overview:

The Procurement Associate Manager works with internal stakeholders and suppliers and serves as a partner with their team and Procurement Manager to resolve issues. This position typically reports to a Procurement Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

• Works with and supports Global stakeholders on req to PO creation for indirect purchases
• Obtains data from external and/or internal sources/analyzes data for completeness and accuracy
• Manages escalations for high priority purchased goods and services
• Take appropriate and timely action to correct and coach on errors and implement changes in processes to stop future issues from occurring
• Ensuring compliance with purchase-to-pay policies and procedures including participation in compliance audits
• Supports a broad range of internal stakeholders across multiple divisions

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in engineering Business Finance or related field
• 3 years experience in a management or team leadership role
• 7 years of experience in shared services finance supply chain operations or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Business Engineering Chemistry or Finance. Or in process of completing an advanced degree
• Demonstrated history of leadership teamwork and project management skills
• Systems aptitude including but not limited to Excel Access PowerPoint and ERP systems (SAP)
• Experience inSAP GEP or other Source to Pay systems in a procurement or shared services environment
• Experience in sourcing Indirect Procurement or supply chain management experience
• Finance audit compliance experience
