AWS Observability Engineer

• 3+ years of experience in monitoring and observability roles.
• Hands-on experience with Datadog and Dynatrace, including configuration, alerting, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of cloud monitoring (AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP Operations Suite).
• Experience with log management tools such as Splunk, ELK, or Grafana Loki.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices monitoring.
• Experience with APM (Application Performance Monitoring) and synthetic monitoring.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Bicep).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Certifications in Datadog, Dynatrace, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, and manage monitoring solutions using Datadog and Dynatrace.
• Develop dashboards, alerts, and reports to provide real-time insights into system health and performance.
• Integrate monitoring tools with cloud platforms (AWS,Azure, GCP) and on-premises environments.
• Set up proactive alerting mechanisms to detect and resolve performance issues before they impact business operations.
• Optimize logging and telemetry data to ensure efficient data collection and visualization.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and SRE teams to improve system observability.
• Analyze performance metrics and logs to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for optimization.
• Automate monitoring configurations and ensure continuous improvement of observability solutions.
• Ensure compliance and best practices in monitoring and incident response strategies.
