About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer – .NET MAUI / Xamarin / .NET Core to join our engineering team and build next-generation cross-platform mobile applications for our Home Health ecosystem. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications that empower clinicians, caregivers, and patients.
You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, QA Engineers, Cloud Engineers, and Clinical stakeholders to deliver innovative healthcare solutions while ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance with enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
Mobile Application Development
- Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI.
- Support and enhance existing Xamarin.Forms applications during migration or maintenance.
- Develop reusable and responsive UI components using XAML.
- Implement and maintain applications following the MVVM architecture.
- Optimize application startup time, responsiveness, and overall performance.
- Ensure compatibility across Android and iOS platforms.
Backend & API Integration
- Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and ASP.NET Core backend services.
- Implement secure authentication using OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
- Develop offline-first capabilities with local data storage and synchronization.
- Integrate push notification services and background synchronization.
- Troubleshoot API connectivity and performance issues.
Software Engineering
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using C# and .NET Core.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
- Conduct peer code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
- Develop unit tests and contribute to UI automation testing.
- Debug production issues and implement sustainable fixes.
- Monitor and improve application performance and reliability.
DevOps & Release Management
- Work with Azure DevOps for work item tracking and source control.
- Manage code using Git.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
- Support mobile application release management and app distribution.
- Collaborate with QA teams during release cycles.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- 5–8 years of software development experience using C# and .NET technologies.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with .NET MAUI and/or Xamarin.Forms.
- Strong experience with .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
- Proficiency in XAML and MVVM architecture.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and secure authentication.
- Experience implementing offline synchronization and local data storage.
- Understanding of mobile application performance optimization.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure Cloud Services.
- Exposure to healthcare or regulated industry applications.
- Familiarity with mobile security best practices.
- Experience with automated UI testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of application monitoring and crash analytics tools.
- Experience publishing applications to Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
