Description

We are seeking an experienced Python Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, automation, and development, with the ability to design and implement robust test solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts using Python.
• Develop and maintain test frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with software developers to understand features and create test cases.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to test design discussions.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Skills and Qualifications

• 6-15 years of experience in software testing and development.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Pytest, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Experience with REST API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Knowledge of database testing and SQL queries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
