Senior GIS Develope

We are seeking a Senior GIS Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise geospatial applications and solutions that support business operations and decision-making. You will work closely with GIS analysts, business stakeholders, and technology teams to deliver scalable mapping, spatial analytics, and location-based services across web, mobile, and enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain GIS applications, web maps, and geospatial solutions using industry-standard GIS technologies
• Develop and customize GIS applications using platforms such as Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Experience Builder, ArcGIS API for JavaScript, or equivalent technologies
• Build and maintain geospatial services, APIs, and integrations with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and asset management platforms
• Develop spatial databases and optimize data storage, retrieval, and performance using PostGIS, SQL Server Spatial, Oracle Spatial, or similar technologies
• Create and support geospatial data processing workflows, automation scripts, and ETL processes
• Collaborate with business users and GIS analysts to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Lead troubleshooting efforts, perform root-cause analysis, and implement performance improvements
• Develop technical documentation, solution designs, and deployment procedures
• Mentor junior developers and establish development standards and best practices
• Support deployment, testing, and maintenance of GIS solutions across development, test, and production environments.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, GIS, Geomatics, Engineering, or a related f ield.5+ years of experience in GIS development and geospatial application delivery
• Strong experience with ArcGIS Enterprise/Online, ArcGIS API for JavaScript, or similar GIS platforms
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, SQL, and web development technolo
• Experience working with geospatial databases and spatial analysis concies
• Strong understanding of GIS architecture, map services, geoprocessing, and spatial data management
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with QGIS, GeoServer, PostGIS, FME, or open-source GIS technologies.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps practices.
• Experience with mobile GIS applications and field data collection solutions.
• GIS certifications such as Esri ArcGIS Developer Certification.
