Job description

Key Responsibilities:


Deal Execution & Transaction Management:

  • Act as the deal execution manager for capital market mandates, driving the end-to-end process from mandate win to completion.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, all external agencies such as legal counsels, auditors, and regulatory authorities (e.g., SEBI, BSE, NSE) regarding filings and compliance.
  • Manage financial & secretarial due diligence, data room setup, and regulatory clearance processes.

Corporate Finance & Financial Analysis:

  • Oversee and review drafts of offer documents, agreements, certificates and other filings and determine accurate disclosures and calculations.
  • Craft and refine critical transaction documents including pitch books and other presentations.
  • Advise clients on timelines, processes, capital structuring and disclosures.

Client Coverage & Business Development:

  • Assist Managing Directors in sourcing new mandates by developing strategic/regulatory insights that help our pitches and identifying market opportunities.
  • Act as the primary day-to-day point of contact for all including IPO-bound clients, counseling executives on capital market products and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of relationships with corporate clients, Private Equity firms and other proxy advisors

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

  • Supervise, mentor, and train junior team members (Analysts and Associates).
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and strict attention to detail in all deliverables.


Relevant Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Regulatory knowledge: Have a grip on SEBI Regulations, Companies Act and process on all Capital Market products
  • Track Record: Demonstrated experience executing at least 5 successful capital market transactions.
  • Pre-existing relationship or familiarity with SEBI/Stock Exchanges’ officials developed while deal execution would be an advantage
  • Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial database tools.
  • Soft Skills: Superior client management, negotiation skills, and the ability to work under high-pressure, unstructured environments.


Experience:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Equity Capital Markets.


Qualification:

  • MBA in Finance, Chartered Accountant (CA), or CFA charter holder.
