Manager - Software Engineer

Role Overview :

As a Manager - Software Engineering, you will spearhead the design, development, and delivery of high-scale enterprise applications within our Bangalore technology hub. You will lead a high-performing team of engineers, acting as the bridge between complex business requirements and robust technical execution. Your day-to-day involves setting the architectural vision, mentoring senior talent, and ensuring the seamless integration of modern web frameworks with enterprise-grade backend systems. By fostering a culture of engineering excellence, you will directly influence our product roadmap, ensuring that our software solutions remain scalable, performant, and aligned with global business outcomes for our diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and career development to ensure high team morale and productivity.

- Architect and oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle of complex applications using .NET and .NET Core to meet evolving business demands.

- Drive the adoption of modern frontend frameworks such as React.js, AngularJS, or Vue.js to deliver intuitive and responsive user experiences.

- Implement rigorous code review processes and performance tuning strategies to maintain high standards of code quality and system reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and product managers to translate strategic goals into actionable technical roadmaps.

- Streamline CI/CD pipelines and SDLC practices to accelerate deployment cycles while maintaining operational stability.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building scalable enterprise systems using .NET, .NET Core, and MVC, coupled with a deep understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.

- Proven ability to lead technical teams through complex project lifecycles, balancing hands-on coding with high-level architectural decision-making.

- Strong proficiency in frontend development with React.js, AngularJS, or Vue.js, ensuring seamless integration with backend services.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and mentor diverse engineering talent effectively.

- Deep knowledge of CI/CD methodologies, SDLC best practices, and performance optimization techniques for high-traffic applications.

- A minimum of 12 - 20 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a track record of delivering impactful technical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, hybrid work environment based in Bangalore, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
