Associate/Senior Associate- Payment Sanctions Screening

Job Purpose

This position will be responsible for performing Payment Sanctions Screening for both domestic and internation payments for a US Commercial Bank

Key responsibilities

1. First line of alert review and triage, alerts generated for potential Sanctions violations / breaches

2. Perform adequate research to determine alert status

3. Escalate potential true matches to 2nd line of defense for review

Key competencies

- 3+ years' experience in Payment Screening with Global Financial Institutions, with strong hands-on experience in alert investigations

- Strong domain knowledge, both Payments & Sanctions - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

- Proven record in client interactions Strong Analytical skills to spot trends and patterns Strong Reporting skills (MIS for operational statistics)

Strong team and engagement management skills

Certifications - - ACAMS ACFCS ICA
