Health Safety Environment Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Systems Support:

• Provide administrative support for HSE systems as usage and requests grow.
• Assist in testing and development of new modules and systems under the direction of the HSE Systems Director.
• Support integration of data for leadership and departmental needs.
• Develop and manage action plans in response to Archaea and bp-led reviews and audit findings.
• Create and maintain digital dashboards and reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of digital tools for tracking and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs).

Documentation Management:

• Organize and maintain the HSE SharePoint site as directed by the Systems & Performance Director.
• Serve as the technical writer for the HSE team, ensuring clarity and consistency in documentation.
• Act as the HSE Document Manager, overseeing the ticketing system and document library.
• Ensure documentation is reviewed and audited according to established cadences and compliance requirements.

Work Experience:

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in document control, systems administration, or HSE support roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, and data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in technical writing.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in HSE or compliance-driven environments.
• Familiarity with audit processes and performance tracking systems.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights and clear reports.
• Experience with ticketing systems and document lifecycle management.
