SAP TM Consultant - IT

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) Consultant to implement, configure, and support SAP TM solutions for transportation planning, execution, freight management, carrier collaboration, and logistics optimization. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to design and deliver end-to-end transportation processes integrated with SAP S/4HANA and related logistics applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP TM solutions.

- Configure and implement SAP TM functionalities including:

1. Freight Order Management

2. Freight Booking

3. Transportation Planning

4. Carrier Selection

5. Freight Settlement

6. Transportation Execution

7. Charge Management

- Design and optimize transportation networks and planning processes.

- Integrate SAP TM with SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM, SAP GTS, SAP EM/Event Management, and third-party logistics and carrier systems.

- Configure master data related to transportation management.

- Support end-to-end testing, UAT, cutover, and go-live activities.

- Analyze and resolve production issues and provide ongoing support.

- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and training materials.

- Collaborate with technical teams for custom developments and integrations.

Required Skills:

- Strong experience in SAP TM implementation and support projects.

- Expertise in transportation planning and logistics business processes.

- Hands-on experience with Freight Units, Freight Orders, Freight Settlement, Transportation Charges, Transportation Cockpit, and Carrier Collaboration.

- Knowledge of transportation execution and shipment management.

- Experience with SAP TM integration scenarios.

- Understanding of logistics execution and supply chain processes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving Configuration and support experience in SAP TM.

- Participation in at least one end-to-end implementation.

- Experience with freight planning and settlement processes.

- Multiple SAP TM implementation projects.

- Solution design and client-facing consulting experience.

- Leadership in transportation transformation initiatives.

- Experience mentoring junior consultants.
