Job description

We are hiring for a Payment Sanctions Screening role. Candidates with hands-on experience in real-time sanctions screening are encouraged to apply.

Night shift: US Shift

Payment Sanctions Screening (L1 review)
Wire payment fields

Soft skills mandatory

Quick decision, as this is a time sensitive & very critical process and one has to take decision in 1 to 2 mins
Communications, will directly interact with client and write-brief summaries (so both verbal & written communications)

Job Purpose:

This position will be responsible for performing Payment Sanctions Screening for both domestic and internation payments for a US Commercial Bank.

Key responsibilities:

First line of alert review and triage, alerts generated for potential Sanctions violations / breaches
Perform adequate research to determine alert status
Escalate potential true matches to 2nd line of defense for review

Key competencies:

Mandatory requirements

3+ years' experience in Payment Screening with Global Financial Institutions, with strong hands-on experience in alert investigations
Strong domain knowledge, both Payments & Sanctions
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Proven record in client interactions Strong Analytical skills to spot trends and patterns -- Strong Reporting skills (MIS for operational statistics)
Strong team and engagement management skills

Certifications - - ACAMS ACFCS ICA
