Oracle Financials Consultant - E2E Implementation

Job Description :

- 8+ years of overall experience in Oracle Financials, including hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion and eBS Financials on large-scale ERP implementations.

- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle Fusion and EBS for Subledger Accounting (SLA).

- Lead requirements gathering, gap analysis, and functional solution design for Payments and SLA processes, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.

- Strong understanding of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes with focus on subledger accounting.

- Hands-on experience in Subledger Accounting (SLA) configuration, including:

1. Accounting rules, journal line types, and account derivation rules.

2. Supporting multi-ledger, multi-currency, and global accounting requirements.

3. Reconciliation between subledgers and General Ledger.

- Define and document business process flows, BR100s, and Functional Design Documents (FDDs).

- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.

- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery models.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Financials Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team in Gurugram. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert, bridging the gap between complex financial business requirements and robust technical solutions. You will work closely with global stakeholders, finance leadership, and cross-functional IT teams to design, configure, and optimize Oracle ERP environments. Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and configure Oracle Financials modules to align with global business processes, ensuring that the system effectively supports complex accounting structures and reporting needs.

- Lead the end-to-end implementation and configuration of Subledger Accounting (SLA) to ensure accurate financial data flow and compliance with diverse regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate with business process owners to translate financial pain points into scalable system enhancements, thereby improving overall user productivity and data integrity.

- Manage the resolution of critical production issues and system defects, providing timely support to stakeholders to minimize operational downtime.

- Conduct comprehensive functional testing and user training to facilitate smooth system adoption and ensure that end-users are fully equipped to leverage the platform's capabilities.

- Partner with technical development teams to oversee the creation of custom extensions, reports, and integrations, ensuring they meet rigorous quality and performance standards.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in configuring and managing Oracle Financials modules, with a deep understanding of Subledger Accounting (SLA) architecture and its integration with the General Ledger.

- Proven ability to lead functional workshops and facilitate clear communication between technical teams and non-technical finance stakeholders to drive project consensus.

- Strong analytical mindset with the capability to troubleshoot complex financial workflows and provide innovative solutions to business challenges.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within a hybrid work environment in Gurugram while maintaining high standards of professional accountability.

- A track record of managing full-cycle ERP implementations, showcasing the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-stakes corporate setting.

- A Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a strong grasp of global accounting principles and ERP best practices.
