Job Summary Accenture Strategy & Consulting is seeking an experienced Customer Insights Manager. The primary purpose of this role is to support the Brand, Media, CFS, COL, Digital and Marketing Transformation teams by delivering a thorough understanding of the customer, translating behavior and needs into key commercial insights to support, develop and execute key marketing campaigns and initiatives. Roles & Responsibilities - Partner with Marketing Stakeholders: Drive planning and execution of key marketing initiatives, including the application of insights in creative briefs through to understanding holistic campaign performance. - Support Strategic Marketing Projects: Support major strategic marketing projects, such as brand positioning and identity, brand asset review and development, and sponsorship optimisation. - Build Marketing Measurement Capability: Build marketing measurement capability and partnerships that yield business performance clarity and transparency through improved data coverage, measurement and analytics. - Drive Insight-Led Decision Making: Design, implement and refine a framework for insight led decision making, both across the marketing function and with key functional stakeholders. - Provide Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership regarding the consumer, our customers, product categories, competitors, and the economic environment. - Manage the Research Agenda: Define, agree resourcing and manage the delivery of the research agenda for marketing, covering concept testing, campaign measurement, and marketing effectiveness reporting. - Partner with Research & Analytics: Work closely with the Research and Analytics team to implement appropriate research methods and tools to understand brand and media effectiveness. - Build Behavioral Science Capability: Lead the development of behavioral science capability across the insights team. - Manage Agencies & Consultancies: Manage external agencies and consultancies in the delivery of the agreed marketing insights, strategy and research agenda. Professional & Technical Skills - 5+ years in research, strategy, marketing or brand related roles. - Experience in marketing and brand strategy. - Experience with brand development and design. - Exceptional project management and delivery skills. - Experience in campaign brief development. - Experience managing large projects in a retail environment. - Proven ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships. - Strong team orientation. - Strong communication, both written and verbal. - Strong commercial acumen. - Proven ability to influence and manage senior level stakeholders. - Strong ability to negotiate with agencies on costs and timelines. - Ability to work to tight deadlines and change work as required. - Knowledge of primary research methodologies. - Experience in working in retail / FMCG is highly desirable. - Experience in working in a marketing role is highly desirable. - Knowledge of behavioural science and consumer psychology is highly desirable.
