Enterprise Software Engineering Manager - IT Automation

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Software Engineering Manager to lead large-scale engineering teams focused on AI-driven software engineering and intelligent test automation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise software development, hands-on expertise in AI-powered automation frameworks, and a proven track record of delivering enterprise automation initiatives.

This role requires a leader who can drive engineering excellence, mentor high-performing teams, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and accelerate software quality through modern AI-enabled testing practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage enterprise software engineering teams responsible for AI-driven test automation initiatives.

- Drive the design, implementation, and adoption of AI-powered automation solutions using Playwright and/or Cypress.

- Define engineering strategy, architecture, and best practices for automation, quality engineering, and software delivery.

- Manage and mentor a team of 10-12+ direct full-time engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

- Ensure successful execution of multiple concurrent AI and automation projects while maintaining quality, timelines, and budget.

- Establish engineering metrics, KPIs, and governance to improve productivity and software quality.

- Drive Agile development practices, SDLC compliance, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) initiatives.

- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve software engineering and testing efficiency.

- Partner with senior leadership and business stakeholders to align engineering initiatives with organizational goals.

- Promote engineering excellence through code quality, automation standards, and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications :

- 17+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a strong enterprise software development background.

- Hands-on experience in AI-driven software engineering and test automation.

- Proven experience implementing AI/automation solutions using Playwright and/or Cypress.

- Demonstrated success delivering AI and automation projects within large enterprise environments.

- Minimum 5 years of Engineering Manager experience with strong people leadership responsibilities.

- Mandatory experience managing 10-12 or more direct full-time engineers (FTEs).

- Experience leading cross-functional software engineering teams across multiple functions.

- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and Software Quality Engineering.

- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and team-building skills.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
