GlobalLogic - Data Engineer - Python/PySpark

Requirements :

- 5+ years of professional work experience.

- Technical Skills: You are proficient in programming languages such as Python/Java, SQL, Pig Script and have 6+ years of experience with big data frameworks like Spark, Hadoop or Kafka.

- You excel in Apache Spark/PySpark fundamentals.

- You excel in using stream and batch processing frameworks and data visualization tools, and are skilled in implementing data governance practices.

- Data Engineering Expertise: You have advanced skills in designing and implementing data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity.

- AI Tools Usage: You have experience with AI development tools such as Cursor, Copilot, and Claude.

- Problem-Solving Ability: You possess strong analytical skills and a knack for solving complex data challenges using innovative approaches.

Job Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines that handle both batch and real-time data ingestion.

- Integrate various data sources (databases, APIs, third-party data) into Snowflake and other data systems.

- Work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure data availability, quality, and performance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipeline performance, scalability, and integrity.

- Optimize data processes for speed, scalability, and cost efficiency.

- Ensure data governance and security best practices are implemented.
