A senior Data Cloud specialist who owns end-to-end CDP solution design and delivery — from raw data ingestion through identity resolution to Customer 360 activation. The role combines deep Salesforce Data Cloud architecture expertise with team lead accountability and practical Agentforce implementation skills. Marketing Cloud is a key source system within scope;
all other cloud integrations and BI reporting connections are part of the delivery surface.

2. Key Skills

Data Cloud (Core — Deep Expertise)

- Data Streams, DMO design & field mapping against standard Data Cloud schema

- Identity Resolution — match rules, reconciliation rules, merge & unlink strategies

- Calculated Insights (batch) & Streaming Insights (real-time profile enrichment)

- Segmentation, Activation, and Segment Membership API

- Ingestion API, Query API, Profile API;
connector selection rationale

- Data reconciliation controls, job monitoring, error queue & retention governance

Agentforce (Must-Have)

- Topics, Actions, Instructions & Prompt Template design in Agent Builder

- Grounding agents with Data Cloud unified profile via RAG patterns

- Einstein Trust Layer — data masking, zero-retention, audit trail configuration

- Agentforce use cases: Sales assist, Service resolution, personalised outreach drafting

- Autonomous vs. assistive vs. deterministic automation — fit-for-purpose selection

Salesforce Ecosystem (Breadth Required)

- Sales Cloud & Service Cloud data models — surfacing Customer 360 to reps via embedded components & CRM Analytics

- Marketing Cloud Connector, engagement event ingestion (Email Studio, Journey Builder), consent & suppression propagation

- Identity stitching: anonymous web/mobile interactions to known CRM profiles

Data Architecture & Integration

- Batch ETL, CDC, event streaming, API ingestion — pattern selection per source

- SQL for Calculated Insights, ad hoc validation, and reconciliation queries

- Schema drift handling, late-arriving data, and high-velocity event de-duplication

BI & Reporting Platforms

- Power BI and Tableau — direct query / export connector patterns from Data Cloud

- Structuring Calculated Insights as report-ready entities to minimise downstream transformation

3. Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Own solution architecture and design documentation (SDDs, data flow diagrams) across the full Data Cloud lifecycle.
• Lead, mentor, and review the work of a team of Data Cloud engineers;
  act as primary technical escalation point.
• Present design trade-offs and phasing decisions confidently to client architects and senior business stakeholders.

Data Ingestion, Modelling & Identity Resolution

• Design multi-source ingestion pipelines (CRM, ERP, Marketing Cloud, web/mobile, third-party) with appropriate connector choices and schema governance.
• Define DMO structures, field mappings, and Identity Resolution configurations to produce a trusted, deduplicated Unified Individual Profile.
• Architect Customer 360 as an activation-ready, consolidated profile — demographics, transactions, service history, engagement behaviour, and computed attributes.

Insights, Segmentation & Activation

• Author Calculated and Streaming Insights for behavioural scores, RFM metrics, churn propensity, and real-time triggers.
• Build segment definitions and configure activation targets across Marketing Cloud, Advertising Studio, and external channels.
• Design closed-loop activation: segments drive Journey Builder entries → engagement events return to Data Cloud → profile updates automatically.

Agentforce Implementation

• Architect and build Data Cloud-grounded Agentforce agents for Sales, Service, and Marketing use cases.
• Configure Trust Layer guardrails and RAG retrieval strategies ensuring agents operate on accurate, real-time Customer 360 data.

Customer 360 for Sales & Service

• Surface unified profiles to Sales Cloud reps (Account, Opportunity layouts) and Service Cloud agents (interaction timeline, next-best-action) via embedded components and CRM Analytics dashboards.

Governance, Reconciliation & Reporting

• Establish source-to-target reconciliation controls, data quality alerts, and retention/purge policies aligned to enterprise governance and privacy regulations.
• Design Data Cloud → Power BI / Tableau integration patterns;
  validate accuracy of activated data across all reporting surfaces at go-live.
