About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Operational Risk Lead Consultant to support and strengthen enterprise-wide Operational Risk and Risk Management (ORRM) practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining operational risk standards, performing risk assessments, identifying emerging risks, and partnering with business teams to enhance risk governance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the development and execution of the enterprise operational risk management strategy.

- Establish and maintain operational risk standards, frameworks, and supporting tools.

- Conduct operational risk assessments across business units to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks.

- Monitor, analyze, and report operational risks while ensuring alignment with the organization's risk appetite.

- Review operational risk data to identify trends, emerging risks, and key issues.

- Perform independent reviews, thematic assessments, and deep-dive analyses of first-line risk management activities.

- Develop insights and recommendations by integrating data and business information.

- Escalate significant operational risk issues and support effective risk reporting.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to strengthen operational risk governance and controls.

- Prepare and present risk reports, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership and governance committees.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise risk management processes and frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Operational Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Controls, Compliance, Audit, or related functions.

- Strong understanding of operational risk management frameworks and governance practices.

- Experience conducting operational risk assessments and control evaluations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex risk data.

- Experience identifying risk trends, emerging risks, and recommending mitigation strategies.

- Ability to communicate complex risk concepts effectively to technical and business stakeholders.

- Experience preparing management reports, presentations, and risk dashboards.

- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may also be considered.
