Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and experienced HR Manager to lead the complete Human Resources function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving HR operations, recruitment, payroll coordination, employee engagement, statutory compliance, and overall HR strategy while ensuring smooth day-to-day HR activities. The role requires strong leadership, accountability, and the ability to build a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Operations
  • Lead and manage end-to-end HR operations.
  • Ensure employee records and documentation are accurate and up to date.
  • Manage appointment letters, confirmation letters, promotion letters, transfer letters, warning letters, and experience/relieving letters.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and SOPs.
  • Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
  • Own the complete recruitment lifecycle from manpower planning to onboarding.
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand hiring requirements.
  • Conduct HR interviews and coordinate for further process.
  • Ensure timely closure of open positions while maintaining hiring quality.
  • Payroll & Attendance Management
  • Monitor Weekly employee attendance and leave records.
  • Coordinate payroll processing with the Finance/Payroll team.
  • Verify attendance, overtime, leave balances, incentives, reimbursements, and deductions.
  • Ensure timely salary processing with zero discrepancies.
  • Resolve payroll-related queries.
  • Employee Documentation & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labour laws.
  • Employee Onboarding & Induction
  • Conduct employee onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Performance Management
  • Lead performance appraisal cycles.
  • Monitor probation reviews and employee confirmations.
  • Coordinate goal setting and performance discussions with department heads.
  • Identify training and development needs.
  • Employee Relations & Grievance Handling
  • Address employee concerns and workplace grievances professionally.
  • Promote a positive work environment.
  • Resolve employee conflicts while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Conduct disciplinary meetings when required.
  • Exit Management
  • Process resignation acceptance, clearance, relieving, and experience letters.
  • Analyse attrition trends and recommend retention initiatives.
  • HR MIS & Reporting
  • Prepare weekly and monthly HR reports.
  • Track recruitment metrics, attrition, attendance, headcount, payroll, and employee engagement.
  • Present HR insights and recommendations to management.
  • Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead and mentor the HR team.
  • Delegate responsibilities and ensure timely completion of HR activities.
  • Drive continuous process improvements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethics.
  • Take ownership and accountability for achieving HR departmental goals.

Required Skills

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment and HR operations.
  • Hands-on experience in payroll coordination and attendance management.
  • Knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRMS software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of experience in HR Operations and Talent Acquisition.
  • Experience in handling end-to-end HR functions independently.
