About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Finance Specialist Municipal Finance to join our Government & Public Services Advisory practice. This role offers an opportunity to work on high-impact urban development, municipal governance, and public finance projects for Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), government departments, and infrastructure sector clients. The successful candidate will support financial advisory engagements by conducting fiscal assessments, developing municipal finance frameworks, preparing financial models, and contributing to sustainable urban infrastructure financing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct financial and fiscal assessments of Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), municipal corporations, and government institutions.

- Analyze municipal budgets, revenue streams, expenditure patterns, and financial performance indicators.

- Support the preparation of municipal finance strategies, financial sustainability plans, and capital investment plans.

- Prepare financial models, feasibility studies, and investment proposals for urban infrastructure and public sector projects.

- Assist in designing municipal revenue enhancement strategies and resource mobilization plans.

- Support the structuring of infrastructure financing models, including Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiatives.

- Collaborate with government departments, Urban Local Bodies, development authorities, consultants, and financial institutions.

- Conduct research on municipal finance reforms, public financial management, and urban governance.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

- CA, CFA, ICWA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.

- 5-8 years of professional experience in Municipal Finance, Public Finance, Government Consulting, or Infrastructure Advisory.

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Municipal Finance or Urban Development projects.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, financial modelling, and data analysis tools.
