Jakson Group - Project Execution Head - EHV Substations

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the execution of multiple 220kV and above EHV substation projects from inception to commissioning.

- Develop project execution strategies, schedules, and resource plans to ensure timely delivery.

- Monitor project progress, budgets, timelines, and quality standards across multiple project sites.

- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and client teams for seamless project execution.

- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.

- Manage contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and site teams to achieve project objectives.

- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

- Drive adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and quality standards across all project sites.

- Prepare project status reports and present progress updates to senior management and clients.

- Ensure successful project commissioning and handover within cost and schedule commitments.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 15-22 years of experience in execution of Power Transmission/EHV Substation Projects.

- Proven experience managing multiple 220kV and above substation projects.

- Strong knowledge of:

1. EHV Substation Construction & Commissioning

3. Contract Management

4. Resource Planning

5. Risk Management

6. Budget & Cost Control

- Experience in leading cross-functional project teams and contractors.

- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and EPC execution.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and project presentations.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

- PMP or equivalent Project Management certification.

- Experience in Power Transmission, EPC, Renewable Energy, or Utility projects.

- Strong knowledge of statutory, safety, and quality compliance requirements.
