Senior Frontend Developer - React.js

Role: Senior Frontend Developer

We are looking for a skilled Senior Frontend Developer with 510 years of experience in building modern, responsive, and scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in React.js as the primary technology, supported by hands-on experience with Node.js for backend integration and solid knowledge of CSS for creating intuitive, responsive user interfaces. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React.js.

- Build reusable, modular, and maintainable UI components.

- Integrate frontend applications with backend services and RESTful APIs.

- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js where required.

- Implement responsive layouts and ensure cross-browser compatibility using modern CSS techniques.

- Optimize application performance, accessibility, and user experience.

- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product owners, and backend developers to deliver business requirements.

- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following industry best practices.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.

Required Skills:

- 510 years of experience in web application development.

- Strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.

- Experience with React Hooks, Context API, Redux or similar state management libraries.

- Hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js for backend development.

- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, Grid, and responsive web design.

- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data.

- Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.

- Experience with package managers such as npm or Yarn.

- Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques.

- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Next.js.

- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.

- Knowledge of GraphQL.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Exposure to Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Preferable: Capital Market/Banking/ Financial. Candidates with good technical skills should be fine without Domain expertise.
