Embedded DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team in Pune. In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional embedded software development and modern cloud-native operations. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines that streamline the deployment of firmware and software across our embedded ecosystem. By collaborating closely with cross-functional hardware and software engineering teams, you will ensure that our development lifecycle is efficient, scalable, and highly automated. Your work will directly impact the reliability of our products, enabling faster release cycles and ensuring that our systems perform optimally under diverse operational conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for embedded systems, significantly reducing manual intervention and human error.

- Implement advanced automation testing frameworks to validate firmware integrity and performance, ensuring high-quality releases for our end users.

- Manage and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS to support remote device management, data logging, and over-the-air (OTA) update services.

- Orchestrate containerized environments using Kubernetes to manage backend services that interface with embedded devices, ensuring high availability and seamless integration.

- Lead incident management efforts by monitoring system health, diagnosing bottlenecks, and resolving production issues to maintain optimal service uptime.

- Optimize system memory and resource utilization across embedded platforms to enhance device performance and extend the longevity of our hardware deployments.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines specifically tailored for embedded environments, with a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.

- Proven ability to manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and orchestrate services using Kubernetes, ensuring secure and scalable communication between hardware and cloud layers.

- Strong proficiency in memory optimization techniques and performance tuning for resource-constrained embedded systems.

- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to incident management and system troubleshooting in complex, distributed environments.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, translate technical requirements into actionable tasks, and mentor junior engineers.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, combined with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, hybrid work environment in Pune.
