SAP to Databricks Functional Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP to Databricks Functional Consultant to lead data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation activities between SAP systems and the Databricks platform. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, data engineers, and analytics teams to ensure accurate migration and harmonization of enterprise data.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze SAP source data across modules such as MM, SD, FICO, SCM, or HR.
• Define source-to-target data mappings from SAP to Databricks.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand transformation logic and reporting requirements.
• Validate data quality, completeness, and reconciliation post migration.
• Work with ETL/ELT and Databricks engineering teams during ingestion and transformation.
• Prepare mapping documents, business rules, and functional specifications.
• Support data cleansing, master data harmonization, and governance initiatives.
• Participate in UAT and business validation cycles.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of SAP functional modules.
• Experience in SAP data structures/tables.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks/Data Lakehouse environments.
• Expertise in data mapping, migration, and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of SQL and data transformation concepts.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong stakeholder management and documentation skills.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP BW, SAP HANA, or SAP S/4HANA.
• Exposure to Delta Lake, PySpark, or Azure Data Factory.
• Prior experience in large-scale ERP modernization or migration projects.
