Job Responsibilities: Design Support Design and deliver specific number of styles in seasonal ranges aligned to brand’s aesthetics Ensure excellence in design language Possess excellent sketching and rendering skill set Drive strong artwork, print placements and proportion accuracy across various silhouettes Study previous sell-throughs and feedback to refine and improve collections Ensure adherence to range plan (category mix, costing, product balance) Conduct focused research on materials, techniques and details etc Stay updated with global and local fashion trends relevant to the brand Drive adoption of relevant design tools and software advancements Sampling Development of prototypes and final samples with clear design direction Color matching of dying and digital swatches across different fabrics used in one drop Ensure accurate execution of prints, and surface developments Work closely with pattern masters to achieve desired fit and fall Review samples at each stage of construction Ensure final samples meet brand standards in quality and aesthetics Handover to Production Ensure complete and accurate handover dockets with all required details To check patterns, digital files, artworks, fits, and colour ways for handover To overlook costing in alignment with buying Ensure line sheets, fits, and product details are aligned for buying teams Identify and close gaps before production Archiving & Process Management Ensure structured and complete seasonal archiving (artworks, trims, details etc.) Maintain disciplined documentation across all design and sampling stages Vendor Development & Management Identify and onboard vendors for fabrics, prints, and trims etc Build strong vendor relationships to achieve quality and innovation Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion/Apparel Design 6–8 years of experience in apparel design, preferably within luxury or premium fashion brands Strong understanding of luxury fashion aesthetics and garment construction Experience handling end-to-end collection development Technical Skills Advanced capability in artwork creation, print development, and placement Ability to develop complete collections aligned to brand Strong understanding of fabrics, dyeing, printing, and surface techniques Expertise in sampling, fittings, and final product on-time delivery Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and design softwares with basic knowledge of Excel Strong understanding of costing, and production feasibility / friendliness of the design Other Skills: Highly organized with strong process, documentation, and tracking discipline Strong research and concept-to-collection translation ability High attention to detail and commitment to design and execution excellence Strong leadership and team management capability Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration Ability to manage timelines and multiple categories simultaneously Strong market awareness and customer understanding
